Surah Al-Qadr

 

In The Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 

Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) (Quran Surah Al-Qadr 97:1)

 

And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? (Quran 97:2)

 

The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). (Quran 97:3)

 

Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, (Quran 97:4)

 

Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. (Quran 97:5)

Sahih Muslim Book 1 – Hadith 5-6   Abu Huraira reported:   One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) appeared before the public so a man came to him and then said: Prophet of Allah, what is Iman? Surah Ṭā Hā   In The Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful   Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] ( Quran Surah Ṭā Hā 20:1 )   We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, ( Quran Surah Ṭā Hā 20:2 )   But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). ( Quran Surah Ṭā Hā 20:3 )   A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. ( Quran Surah Ṭā Hā 20:4 )   The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). ( Quran Surah Ṭā Hā 20:5 )   To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil.
