Surah Al-Munafiqun

Image
Surah Al-Munafiqun In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate When the hypocrites come to you (O Muhammad SAW), they say: "We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah." Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are liars indeed. ( Quran Surah Al-Munafiqun 63:1 ) They have made their oaths a screen (for their hypocrisy). Thus they hinder (men) from the Path of Allah. Verily, evil is what they used to do. ( Quran Surah Al-Munafiqun 63:2 ) That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed, so they understand not. ( Quran Surah Al-Munafiqun 63:3 ) And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are as blocks of wood propped up. They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies, so beware of them. May Allah curse them! How are they denying (or deviating from) the Right Path. ( Quran 63:4 ) And when it is sai...

Surah Al-Mujadila

Surah Al-Mujadila In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate Indeed Allah has heard the statement of her (Khaulah bint Tha'labah) that disputes with you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning her husband (Aus bin As-Samit), and complains to Allah. And Allah hears the argument between you both. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer. ( Quran Surah Al-Mujadila 58:1 ) Those among you who make their wives unlawful (Az-Zihar) to them by saying to them "You are like my mother's back." They cannot be their mothers. None can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And verily, they utter an ill word and a lie. And verily, Allah is Oft-Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving. ( Quran Surah Al-Mujadila 58:2 ) And those who make unlawful to them (their wives) (by Az-Zihar) and wish to free themselves from what they uttered, (the penalty) in that case (is) the freeing of a slave before they touch each other. That is an admonition to you (so that you may not return to such an ill thing)...

Surah Muhammad

Image
In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate   Those who disbelieve and hinder ˹others˺ from the Way of Allah, He will render their deeds void. ( Quran 47:1 )   As for those who believe, do good, and have faith in what has been revealed to Muḥammad—which is the truth from their Lord—He will absolve them of their sins and improve their condition. ( Quran 47:2 )   This is because the disbelievers follow falsehood, while the believers follow the truth from their Lord. This is how Allah shows people their true state ˹of faith˺. ( Quran 47:3 )   So when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike ˹their˺ necks until you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind them firmly. Later ˹free them either as˺ an act of grace or by ransom until the war comes to an end. So will it be. Had Allah willed, He ˹Himself˺ could have inflicted punishment on them. But He does ˹this only to˺ test some of you by means of others. And those who are martyred in the c...

Surah Al-Jathiya

Image
In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate Ḥâ-Mĩm. ( Quran 45:1 )   The revelation of this Book is from Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise. ( Quran 45:2 )   Surely in ˹the creation of˺ the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. ( Quran 45:3 )   And in your own creation, and whatever living beings He dispersed, are signs for people of sure faith. ( Quran 45:4 )   And ˹in˺ the alternation of the day and the night, the provision sent down from the skies by Allah—reviving the earth after its death—and the shifting of the winds, are signs for people of understanding. ( Quran 45:5 )   These are Allah’s revelations which We recite to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth. So what message will they believe in after ˹denying˺ Allah and His revelations? ( Quran 45:6 )   Woe to every sinful liar. ( Quran 45:7 )   They hear Allah’s revelations recited to them, then persist ˹in denial˺ arrogantly as if they did not hear them. ...

Image
Surah Al-Hajj ,  the 22nd chapter  of  the Holy Quran , stands as a majestic pillar within the Islamic faith. Its title, translating to “ The Pilgrimage ,” immediately evokes the sacred journey to Mecca, Hajj. However,  Surah Al-Hajj  offers a profound exploration that extends far beyond the rituals themselves. It delves into the very essence of faith, reminding us of our accountability, the nature of existence, and the purpose woven into the tapestry of our creation ( Quran 22:56 ). The sovereignty on that Day will be that of Allah (the one Who has no partners). He will judge between them. So those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds will be in Gardens of delight (Paradise).  ( Quran 22:56 ) A Structured Revelation: Laying the Foundation Comprised of 78 verses revealed in Medina after the Prophet’s (PBUH) migration,  Surah Al-Hajj  falls under the classification of Madani Surahs. The openi...
