Surah Ya-Sin
In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate Yâ-Sĩn. ( Quran Surah Ya-Sin 36:1 ) By the Quran, rich in wisdom! ( Quran Surah Ya-Sin 36:2 ) You ˹O Prophet˺ are truly one of the messengers ( Quran Surah Ya-Sin 36:3 ) upon the Straight Path. ( Quran Surah Ya-Sin 36:4 ) ˹This is˺ a revelation from the Almighty, Most Merciful, ( Quran Surah Ya-Sin 36:5 ) so that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, and so are heedless. ( Quran 36:6 ) The decree ˹of torment˺ has already been justified against most of them, for they will never believe. ( Quran 36:7 ) ˹It is as if˺ We have put shackles around their necks up to their chins, so their heads are forced up, ( Quran 36:8 ) and have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and covered them ˹all˺ up, so they fail to see ˹the truth˺.
