The Battle of the Trench, also known as the Battle of Khandaq or the Battle of Ahzab, holds immense significance in Islamic history. Fought in 627 CE, it marked a pivotal moment for the fledgling Muslim community in Medina, led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) .
