  Surah Luqman الم Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] ( Quran Surah Luqman 31:1 ) تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ These are Verses of the Wise Book (the Quran). ( Quran Surah Luqman 31:2 ) هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّلْمُحْسِنِينَ A guide and a mercy for the Muhsinun (good-doers) ( Quran Surah Luqman 31:3 ) الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ Those who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as- Salat) and give Zakat and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainty. ( Quran Surah Luqman 31:4 ) أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. ( Quran Surah Luqman 31:5 ) وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.mu...

( Quran Surah Ar-Rum 30:2 ) فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious. ( Quran Surah Ar-Rum 30:3 ) فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن بَعْدُ ۚ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans).
