  Surah An-Nur ,  the 24th chapter  of  the Quran , transcends its literal translation as “ The Light ” to illuminate a comprehensive guide for navigating life’s complexities. This profound Surah delves into the core values of Islam, offering practical directives for maintaining moral conduct ( Quran 24:2-3 ), fostering respectful relationships ( Quran 24:27-29 ), and ultimately, drawing closer to the radiant light of Allah ( Quran 24:35 ). The woman and the man guilty of illegal sexual intercourse, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment.
