Sahih Muslim Book 1 – Hadith 8 - 9   It is reported on the authority of Talha b. 'Ubaidullah that a person with dishevelled hair, one of the people of Nejd, came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). We heard the humming of his voice but could not fully discern what he had been saying, till he came nigh to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Sahih Muslim Book 1 – Hadith 7   It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:   Ask me (about religious matters), but they (the Companions) were in awe of asking him. Sahih Muslim Book 1 – Hadith 5-6   Abu Huraira reported:   One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) appeared before the public so a man came to him and then said: Prophet of Allah, what is Iman? Sahih Muslim Book 1, Hadith 2   It is narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Ya'mur that when Ma'bad discussed the problem pertaining to Divine Decree, we refuted that. He (the narrator) said:   I and Humaid b. Abdur-Rahman Himyari argued. And they carried on the conversation about the purport of the hadith related by Kahmas and its chain of transmission too, and there is some variation of words. ( Sahih Muslim Book 1, Hadith 2 )   It is narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Ya'mur and Humaid b. 'Abdur-Rahman that they said:   We met Abdullah b. 'Umar and we discussed about the Divine Decree, and what they talked about it and he narrated the hadith that has been transmitted by 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Apostle (ﷺ). Sahih Muslim Book 1, Hadith 1   It is narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Ya'mur that the first man who discussed qadr (Divine Decree) in Basra was Ma'bad al-Juhani. I along with Humaid b. Surah Al-Naml   In The Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful   Ta-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
